If I were to be melodramatic,

I would say that O.N.E. by Yeasayer is the song of the minute.

But in actuality there’s no need for a song of the minute.

Ahhh, but Yeasayer is always so great, who needs a reason?

Guyssssss.
I got a new viola!
Yeah, I know the picture isn’t fantastic, but oh well.
I’m SO EXCITED!  And as an added bonus, the inside of the case is green — it’s a little thing, but it made me so happy!  And the viola is better than I expected! :D

I love when your music lessons are really meaningful.

Like, today, my teacher basically planned out how I would become a professional musician. It’s rather exciting to think that maybe someday I really could live a life in music. In particular, he thought it was incredibly important that I study in Europe. I have no problem with that.

That wonderful moment when a year-old tumblr post makes for a nice college essay.
